Watt Rd closed due to minor flooding

Watt Rd has been closed after minor flooding saw water creeping onto the road on Monday morning.

About 10.45am ‘road closed’ signs were being put up by council workers.

Raftery Rd in Kialla is also closed due to flooding, between Edgewater Rd and Seven Creeks Dve.

Bridge Rd in Toolamba and Newnham Rd Arcadia were also closed on Monday.

Sections of the Broken River Path alongside Lincoln Dve are also underwater.

The Goulburn River height at Shepparton was 9.18 metres on Monday morning.

On Sunday at 10am it was at 8.77m; the minor flood level is 9.5m.

A minor flood warning was issued on Sunday for the Goulburn River at Murchison.

The river height there on Sunday morning was 8.1m and on Monday morning it was 7.9m.
