Nathalia, Numurkah and Wunghnu residents are invited to have their say on management of the lower Broken and Nine Mile creeks at an upcoming community workshop being held by Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority.
Goulburn Broken CMA river health and environmental water project co-ordinator Pam Beattie said the workshop would focus on what was valued most about the creek by the community, alongside desired improvements and identifying top priorities for works.
The feedback will contribute to Goulburn Broken CMA’s Environmental Water Management Plan, which will be updating over the coming year.
“We look forward to hearing what the community has to say and building it into our upcoming work on the lower Broken and Nine Mile creeks,” Ms Beattie said.
The function will be held on Tuesday, May 9 between 5.30pm and 6.30pm at the Dancocks Room, Nathalia Sports and Community Centre, 42 Robertson St.
