Jacobson’s Outlook in Nagambie will be turned into a winter wonderland this June.

Strathbogie Shire Council, Go Nagambie and the Euroa Chamber of Business and Commerce are creating family-friendly events that will bring ice skating to Strathbogie Shire.

Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Laura Binks said the free events were made possible after council received Victorian Government funding through the Outdoor Activation Fund.

Winter Wonderland Nagambie will include a virtual reality Swiss Alps, hot chocolate, mulled wine, photo booths and snow play.

The winter wonderland will see an ice-skating rink set up with inflatable surrounds, skates, helmets, penguin trolleys for smaller children and experts to fit the skates and give instruction.

A booking system has been established to make it easy for residents and visitors to enjoy the fun.

The festivities will be held at Jacobson’s Outlook in Nagambie on June 11 and 12 from 11am to 4pm.
