Youth Fest 2022 will be hosted in Shepparton on Thursday, and is a chance to celebrate all things ‘youth’.

Event organiser Nat Marshall, a Bridge Youth Service youth worker, is thrilled to host the inaugural festival.

“It is hoping to be a fun and enjoyable event for all,” Ms Marshall said.

She said the event was important for the youth of Shepparton, as it would provide an insight into possible careers.

Attendees will also be able to see what Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE has to offer.

“The event, even though it is a fun day, it also gives young people the chance to connect with different organisations and showcases the opportunities that will be on offer,” Ms Marshall said.

She said the event would attract young people from schools across the Goulburn Valley.

The event will include three-on-three basketball, food stalls, music sessions and a free barbecue.

The festival will be held at GOTAFE, Fryers St, Shepparton from 11.30am to 2.30pm on Thursday, September 15, and is open to all young people.
