Youngsters dress up to get involved in Book Week 2022

According to a recent report released by the Victorian Government, reading to children aged four to five every day has a significant positive effect on their reading, and cognitive, skills later in life.

With that in mind youngsters from across Benalla and District dressed up as their favourite characters last week.

SmartPlay Early Learning Centre, Benalla, participated in an array of activities in alignment with this year’s theme “Dreaming with eyes open.

Young participants in Tomorrow Today’s PEEP program also dressed up to mark the occasion.
