The ladies in the canteen at St Michael’s School in Deniliquin whisked up an absolute treat of delicious pancakes for students to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.
The Christian festival is celebrated in many countries across the globe.
Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day as it is now more affectionately known, falls 47 days before Easter Sunday and the day before Ash Wednesday - the first day of Lent.
Traditionally it was the last day to eat rich, tasty foods before sacrificing for Lent.
The students at St Michael’s had smiles all round embracing tradition and eating all the yummy pancakes made.
