How’s this for an idea? Before we throw one trillion dollars at a renewable dream, we take a billion dollars and build a town somewhere powered only by renewable energy and using nothing derived from fossil fuels. Then populated by climate change supporters, they live there for a year. If it works well, then we go large scale. Let’s find out what a future would be like. Personally, I don’t think they would last a year.
