Oh, go you, Lionel Waterson (Thursday, July 4, Letters), you definitely know how to tug at the heartstrings.

Stimulating debate is so often prompted by food. Vegemite, peanut butter and then honey on toast just begs the question: What sort of bread justifies such a concoction? Would you suggest to bake grain, sourdough or olive bread? Should it be washed down with Earl Grey, English breakfast or maybe even one of the many varieties of coffee?

You have had me pondering for days, which has resulted in an interruption to my Spanish lessons. No more time to write, I fear.
