Alleged aggravated burglary in Shepparton

A car was stolen in an aggravated burglary in Shepparton, police allege.

Police said the car was stolen from a St George’s Rd property while people were home between 2am and 4am on Thursday, November 28.

Police found the car at about 11.30am on Thursday, with the people who allegedly stole it inside.

A 20-year-old Shepparton man and a Shepparton woman in her 20s were arrested and have both been charged with theft of a vehicle.

They will both face court in March 2025.
