Police are looking for the owners of a car that was found burnt-out at Caniambo, or anyone who saw anything in the lead-up to it being burned.
Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit Detective Senior Constable Andrew Costello said the car was found by a passer-by on Shepparton-Dookie College Rd at 4.30am on Thursday, March 17.
It is a Holden Commodore Calais sedan.
Det Sen Constable Costello said police think it could be a VY model, which would mean it was from around 2004.
The colour is unknown as the car was too burned to be able to tell.
Det Sen Constable Costello said the car was found in the middle of the gravel road, which is in a remote area.
Police are looking for information from anyone who saw anything, or who knows who owns the car.
