Police are investigating the theft of a car from the Shepparton railway station over the weekend.
Detective Senior Constable Nathan Berryman said the black Mitsubishi Lancer was stolen about 6.40am on Sunday, February 23.
Police found the car parked behind businesses in High St, Shepparton, at 10am on Monday, February 24.
A 25-year-old Shepparton man has been charged with dangerous driving while being pursued by police and theft of a vehicle.
He will face Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on the charges.
