A driver was lucky to walk away uninjured after an alleged drink driving incident.

On Saturday, June 1, about 9pm, police responded to an accident on McLennan St, Mooroopna, where a small Toyota bus had collided with a streetlight in the Aldi car park.

Sergeant Matthew Walker said the driver, a man in his 20s, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and sustained no injuries.

The man allegedly recorded a mid- to high-range level of blood alcohol concentration.

He will be charged with drink driving and summoned to appear in court.
