Concreter conned Goulburn Valley victims, police say

A man has been charged after allegedly taking $120,000 from Goulburn Valley victims for whom he quoted concrete jobs, but didn’t complete.

According to police, the man quoted jobs in the Shepparton, Benalla, Wangaratta and Wodonga areas between July 2022 and January 2023.

He allegedly received money from at least 15 victims.

Benalla Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested a 47-year-old man on Monday, February 6.

He has been charged with 15 counts of obtaining property by deception and will appear at court in May.
