Drive-by shooting in Shepparton

Police cordoned off a section of a Shepparton street on Friday morning.

Police are investigating reports of a drive-by shooting at a Shepparton home on Thursday, August 1.

Police said they understand shots were fired at a property from a vehicle on Murray St about 10.10pm.

Police were told the vehicle fled the scene.

Three people were inside the property at the time of the incident and there were no injuries, police said.

Two bullet holes could clearly be seen near the front door of the Murray St house.

On Friday morning, the area had been cordoned off with police tape and police officers were standing guard at the scene.

Detectives could also be seen door-knocking properties in the area.
