Driver in Kialla crash allegedly five times the legal blood-alcohol limit

A driver involved in a two-vehicle crash in Kialla on Wednesday morning was allegedly five times the legal blood-alcohol limit.

According to police, two vehicles heading in opposite directions on Archer Rd collided in the middle of the road about 7.30am on January 18.

Both drivers were breath-tested and the driver of the northbound vehicle was taken to Shepparton Police Station where they allegedly blew 0.268.

No-one was injured in the crash and the driver has been summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
