Police are investigating a fatal collision involving nine vehicles at a busy Shepparton intersection.
Police allege a Toyota Hiace van and eight other vehicles collided at the intersection of Nixon and Welsford streets, before the van came to a stop on Welsford St at about 5pm on Wednesday, July 31.
A 58-year-old man, who was a passenger in the van, was taken to hospital with injuries and later died.
Three other people were taken to hospital for observation, police said.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
