Police have released photos of two men they hope to identify as part of their investigation into an armed robbery at the Peppermill Inn in Kialla last December.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said Shepparton detectives from the armed crime squad said they were told two armed men entered the gaming venue on the Goulburn Valley Hwy about 11.55pm on Thursday, December 9.
The men were both wearing masks and allegedly armed with a knife, the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the men allegedly confronted a male staff member with the knife and made a demand for cash.
The staff member handed over a quantity of cash and the men left the premises, the spokesperson said.
There were a number of staff members and patrons in the venue at the time, and the majority managed to flee.
No-one was physically injured during the incident.
Police believe the men left the area in a blue sedan and headed north.
Detectives released images of the men who were allegedly involved, in the hope someone could provide more information about their identity.
One man is described as having a thin build, while the other has a stockier build.
The spokesperson said investigators would also like to speak to anyone who saw the men leave the premises or has any other information about the incident.
