Police believe a vehicle was deliberately set on fire at Mooroopna.
Firefighters were called to extinguish a vehicle fire on Excelsior Ave at about 1.30am on Thursday, January 2.
Police said the gold Toyota LandCruiser had been stolen from a Mooroopna home between Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1.
Police believe the LandCruiser was dumped by the side of the road and deliberately set alight.
It was destroyed in the fire, and about one hectare of grass on the roadside was also burnt.
Two CFA fire trucks attended the fire and took about an hour to fully extinguish the fires burning on both the car and the grass.
