Motorbike crash witnesses asked to come forward

Witnesses to a crash between a motorcycle and two cars in Shepparton on Monday, July 4, have been asked to contact police.

A motorbike was travelling north on Maude St when a car allegedly struck the rear wheel of the bike, causing the rider to crash into another vehicle about 2.10pm, Shepparton Senior Sergeant Glenn Parker said at the scene.

The rider, a Kyabram man, 59, was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition and was treated for multiple injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
