Pair arrested over Dookie burglaries

Two Dookie men have been arrested over alleged burglaries in the town, including targeting local community organisations.

Dookie police Leading Senior Constable Simon Hutchings said the men were arrested on Sunday, October 23, following several burglaries during a two-month period.

Leading Sen Constable Hutchings said alcohol was stolen from the Dookie United Football Netball Club community centre, tools taken from Dookie Motors, and items from the Dookie Tennis Club.

He said a television tower on Mt Major had also been broken into.

Two 18-year-old Dookie men will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Investigations are continuing.
