Three people have died in a plane crash at Tinamba West, two of them are from Tongala.
On Saturday, November 16, emergency services responded to reports of a plane crash in a paddock off Hayfield-Upper Maffra Road at approximately 5.45pm.
Police were informed that the plane was circling the area before it crashed and and burst into flames.
The pilot and two passengers, a 20-year-old Tongala man, 16-year-old Tongala boy and 15-year-old Tinamba West boy died at the scene.
They were the only occupants onboard.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
