A car accident involving a driver allegedly driving around Shepparton at high speeds is being investigated by police.
Around 10pm on Saturday, April 6, a man in a silver Kia wagon reportedly drove around Shepparton at fast speeds into the early morning of Sunday.
At 2am, the driver was travelling east through the Hawkins St and Verney Rd intersection when they allegedly crashed into the table drain on Verney Rd.
After the collision, CCTV footage caught the driver fleeing the scene.
Police are currently looking for him.
Police are asking anyone who has dashcam footage of the car or who was put in danger because of this driver during the period of 10pm on Saturday, April 6, to 2am on Sunday, April 7, to contact them at 5820 5777 or Crimestoppers at 1800 333 000.
