Police have released a computer-generated likeness of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation into an assault in Shepparton on May 28.
According to police, investigators were told a Shepparton man, 20, was walking on Corio St, near the intersection of Rea St, with three friends when they were approached by two males about midnight.
The 20-year-old was assaulted when a physical altercation broke out and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
His friend, also a 20-year-old Shepparton male, sustained minor injuries.
The two offenders left the scene on foot, heading south on Corio St.
