Police have released CCTV images while they continue to investigate a burglary that saw a digger and two trailers, among other items, stolen from Tatura earlier this month.

Police believe unknown people driving a white utility arrived at the Victorian Agriculture Research Centre on Ferguson Rd around 3.40am on Friday, October 4.

Digger owner Daniel Mark reported the burglary to police that morning upon discovering the items missing.

It was reported the people forced entry to the premises and rummaged through several sheds, stealing tools and camping equipment.

They loaded and stole a blue box trailer, worth around $4000, and left the premises at about 4.15am.

They then returned a short time later and stole a Kanga Mini Loader worth around $10,000, and an earth mover trailer, valued at around $40,000.

Mr Mark, who works as a contractor for the research centre, said along with the trailers and the digger he’d only owned for three weeks, tools and a pressure washer were among the other items missing.

It is believed the people left the property in the utility around 5.45am in the direction of Byrneside.

Investigators have released CCTV of a white utility leaving the scene, as well as images of the stolen mini loader.
