Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery in Shepparton on Monday night.
Police believe two unknown males, wearing black hooded tops and balaclavas, entered Benalla Rd Convenience and Tobacconist on Benalla Rd at around 9.40pm on September 30.
One of the males, who was armed with a firearm, demanded two shopkeepers fill a black duffel bag with cash.
The other male went behind the shop’s counter, armed with an edged weapon.
They left the shop through the front door with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
Police believe they fled the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle, heading south on Archer St.
The staff members were uninjured.
Investigations are ongoing.
