Two people have been charged with a range of offences, including allegedly trafficking methamphetamine and dealing with the proceeds of crime, after police executed search warrants at two Shepparton properties on Thursday, January 20.

Shepparton police Detective Senior Constable Leon Schroeter said police found a loaded firearm at a property in Clydesdale St, Shepparton.

A Shepparton man, 24, was arrested at the property.

He was charged with alleged false imprisonment, assault, making a threat to kill, trafficking and possessing methamphetamine, possessing ammunition, dealing with the proceeds of crime, stalking and breaching parole, Det Sen Constable Schroeter said.

A search warrant executed at an address in Field St, Shepparton, on the same day allegedly revealed a quantity of drugs and cash.

Det Sen Constable Schroeter said a 23-year-old Shepparton woman was arrested at the Field St address and charged with allegedly trafficking methamphetamine, committing an indictable offence on bail and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Det Sen Constable Schroeter said police executed the search warrants after they charged two men in relation to an alleged armed robbery in Longstaff St, Shepparton, on January 13.

A Shepparton man, 36 and a Cummeragunja man, 54, were charged with alleged armed robbery and were remanded in custody, to appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on April 12.

The woman, 23, was bailed and will face Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on February 28.

The man, 24, remains in custody after allegedly breaching parole and will appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on February 25.
