Police are appealing for public assistance following a fire in Toolamba last month.
Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit police have been told fireworks were set off in the vicinity of the Goulburn River about 3.30am on Sunday, December 26.
The fireworks caused a fire which burnt about one hectare of bushland.
Witnesses have told police a dark-coloured 4x4 was seen at the fire before driving off, police said.
Detectives have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
