Rider caught doing 190km/h in 60km/h zone

A man’s motorbike has been impounded two days after he acquired it, after he was caught allegedly speeding by more than three times the speed limit in Shepparton on Sunday, March 20.

Shepparton police Senior Constable Bernie Cline said the man was allegedly doing 190km/h in a 60km/h zone on The Boulevard, Shepparton, about 4pm.

He said the man also did not have a motorcycle driver’s licence.

After preliminary tests, the man allegedly tested positive to drugs.

The motorbike was impounded and the man underwent further drug testing.
