A Victoria Police sergeant has been charged following an incident in Shepparton earlier this year.
The male officer, in his 40s, has been charged with two counts of unlawful assault.
The charges are in relation to an alleged incident in Shepparton on February 28 this year while the member was on duty.
He will appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in August.
