A Shepparton man was caught driving while his licence was suspended, after he forgot his court date.
Christopher Temasis, 32, of Shepparton, pleaded guilty in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court to driving while suspended.
Prosecutor Leading Senior Constable Anna Hanlon said police caught Temasis driving on Colliver Rd, Shepparton on May 25 after his licence had been suspended for six months at Cobram Magistrates’ Court just a few days prior.
Temasis told police he knew about the court date but didn’t attend.
Representing himself in court, Temasis said he travelled around a lot for work and “forgot” about his Cobram court date.
He was fined $300.
