Police are investigating what is believed to be a suspicious fire at a Shepparton house late Thursday night.
Police said the occupant of a Fairless St house was awoken by flames on the front porch just before midnight.
The front door and weatherboards at the front of the house were burned in the fire.
Police inquiries into how the fire started are still ongoing, but it is believed to be suspicious.
