Police are investigating the robbery of a taxi driver in Shepparton last week.
Police said two men and a woman were picked up in a taxi from the shopping centre at Poplar Ave, Shepparton, on Friday, September 20.
After being driven to Packham St in Shepparton at around 2pm, the trio assaulted the driver and stole his wallet, which reportedly contained a “significant amount of cash”, according to police.
Investigations are continuing.
