Three charged with murder following Bunbartha death

Three people from the Greater Shepparton area have been charged with murder following the death of a man located in Bunbartha last week.

Emergency services were called to a car fire on Loch Garry Road on 24 December about 10am.

After the fire was extinguished, the body of a 19-year-old Wangaratta man was located inside the vehicle.

A 38-year-old Shepparton man, a 37-year-old Shepparton woman and a 24-year-old Mooroopna man have each been charged with one count of murder.

The trio were remanded in custody and will appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 3.

Homicide Squad detectives arrested three people on Friday, December 30, as part of the investigation.

The two men and the woman were all arrested in Shepparton.
