A truck rolled over while going through a Shepparton roundabout early on Thursday, August 11.

Shepparton Highway Patrol Senior Constable Grant McDonald said police were called to the accident on the corner of Doyles Rd and Old Dookie Rd about 6.10am.

The truck, which was carrying a shipping container, had to be disconnected from its load before it could be put back on its wheels by salvage crews, Sen Constable McDonald said.

The shipping container was later put upright by cranes and then taken from the scene on the back of another truck.

The 34-year-old Mildura man driving the truck was checked by ambulance officers, but did not have any injuries.
