Two injured in alleged Shepparton home invasion

Two people were allegedly assaulted during a home invasion in Shepparton early on Monday, October 21.

Police said the alleged home invasion happened at a property on Community St about 5.15am.

A 41-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, who were occupants of the house, were taken by ambulance to Goulburn Valley Health in a stable condition.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said both had upper and lower body injuries.

On Monday afternoon, the house remained cordoned off from the street with police tape surrounding it, and police and forensic officers were on scene.

Police are investigating an alleged home invasion in Shepparton.

Police investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
