Two-vehicle collision on main Goulburn Valley road

A woman has been airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital after a two-vehicle crash on a main Goulburn Valley road.

Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Tallygaroopna on Saturday, August 24.

A sedan travelling north and a ute travelling south collided head-on just before 11am on the Goulburn Valley Hwy, police said.

The driver of the sedan, a 19-year-old NSW woman, was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the ute, a 30-year-old man from Greater Shepparton, was taken to Goulburn Valley Health with upper body injuries in a serious but stable condition.
