Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletic athletes made their mark at the Albury Open Day, achieving outstanding results and showcasing incredible talent and sportsmanship. Despite representing two different clubs, all the athletes share a common bond—they proudly call Yarrawonga home.
In a day filled with excitement and personal bests, Koah ran an impressive race to secure 2nd place in the 70m sprint.
Jett also showed grit and determination, placing 4th in both the 70m and 100m sprints.
Max delivered an exceptional performance across multiple events, claiming:
- 1st place in the 1500m, setting a new event record,
- 1st place in the 800m, and
- 2nd place in the Triple Jump with a personal best, finally breaking the 10m barrier.
Adding to the success, Amelie excelled in her events:
- 1st place in the 1500m,
- 2nd place in the 800m, and
- 3rd place in the Triple Jump.
The day was a resounding success, with each athlete contributing to the pride and spirit of their community.
Their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship were a testament to their dedication to the sport.
