Both Rochester and Echuca are in for a tennis treat this November, with the Australian Open Trophy Tour passing through the two towns.

Tennis Australia’s ‘AO on the Road’ will visit five towns across Victoria before the end of the year, kicking off this Sunday in Bright.

The Norman Brookes Challenge Cup and Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup, presented to the men’s and women’s singles winners at the Australian Open respectively, will first pass through Bright and Mildura.

Rochester Tennis Club will be visited by the tour this Saturday, November 3, which will pass through Echuca a week later on Saturday, November 11.

Both clubs will host an open day, with Tennis Australia promising action-packed events filled with entertainment, delicious food and beverages, as well as plenty of tennis fun, before the tour moves on to Wahgunyah.

The 2024 Australian Open is once again set to be a huge event, with Melbourne Park hosting the annual tournament from January 14-28 next year.
