Both Echuca and Rochester are in for a tennis treat this November, with the Australian Open Trophy Tour passing through the two towns.

Tennis Australia’s ‘AO on the Road’ is visiting towns across Victoria, having kicked off in Bright on October 22.

The Norman Brookes Challenge Cup and Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup, presented to the men’s and women’s singles winners at the Australian Open, respectively, were in Mildura on Saturday.

Rochester Tennis Club will be visited by the tour on Saturday, November 4, with Echuca hosting the trophies a week later on Saturday, November 11.

Both clubs will host an open day, with Tennis Australia promising action-packed events filled with entertainment, delicious food and beverages, as well as plenty of tennis fun, before the tour moves to Wahgunyah.

The 2024 Australian Open is once again set to be a huge event, with Melbourne Park hosting the annual tournament from January 14 to 28.
