C-res step up for Berrigan

A-grade: Berrigan 28 def by Rennie 53.

The A-graders took on Rennie after a good preseason, but it was a bit of a rough start with everyone still adjusting to new players and new combinations.

By half time the girls had found their rhythm and things were going well.

All players gave their all and battled hard in the heat.

Despite the loss the team have a lot to work with and are keen to see how the season progresses.

B-grade: Berrigan 37 def by Rennie 42.

This game was a nailbiter with the B-grade players coming out hard from the start keeping Rennie on their toes as the game went goal for goal.

Unfortunately, Rennie broke a couple of centres in the last quarter to score the win.

C-grade: Berrigan 13 def by Rennie 49.

It was a tough game and after a few team adjustments, the girls had to work some new combinations.

It was truly a defensive game with the defenders working hard for some great turnovers and pressure.

C-reserve: Berrigan 29 def Rennie 22.

This was an amazing game to watch and great start to the season, with every player stepping up and doing their job.

C-res have welcomed some new faces and are very optimistic about the season ahead.

The team have welcomed new faces and are working on some new player combinations, in a versatile team filled with positivity.

A solid start to the season with a few things to improve on.

The girls played a great game today as a new side. Everyone had fun and learnt a lot from this first outing.

The littlest Saints put up a good fight against a tall and experienced Rennie. There were seven first-time players and they did an amazing job.
