Can Todd bring the Power?

After not playing since round 22 this year due to concussion, local AFL star Todd Marshall will be hoping to return for his side’s must-win clash tonight.

His appearance in the Port Adelaide Power and Hawthorn match-up was unknown yesterday, and Marshall was unavailable to speak with the Pastoral Times.

Marshall has been out of the Power’s side since sustaining the concussion.

From the 18 games played, he’s contributed 20 goals, five of those coming in one game against North Melbourne in round 11.

While the numbers are a drop-off from the lofty heights of his 2022 season, Marshall has had somewhat of an interrupted season through injury.

There was speculation yesterday Marshall may get the call-up for the game.

Key forward and club veteran Charlie Dixon seems to be the player who will make way for Marshall to be named.

His form has been down and Port are looking to score plenty of goals to avoid a repeat of last weekend’s loss against the Cats.

The Hawthorn Hawks are absolutely flying and will take some stopping.

If Port are to repeat their heroics from earlier in the year when they ran down a 28 point lead from the Hawks in round 10, Marshall will need to fire.

The Port Adelaide Power will take on Hawthorn at home tonight, kicking off at 7.40pm.

The winner of the match will go onto play the Sydney Swans for a spot in the grand final.
