A new season of Deni Carpet Bowls will begin on Wednesday, October 9, with players also invited to participate in two weekly social bowls days at the Deniliquin RSL Club.

Anyone interested in playing sport socially and staying connected is urged to get involved with the group.

Club members play three times a week, with competitive bowling taking place on Wednesdays from 7.30pm at the club.

There will also be social games played every Sunday at 12.30pm, and Thursdays at 12pm.

The Sunday and Thursday games have and will continue to run beyond the carpet bowls seasons.

Carpet bowls is the perfect pastime for the individual or group, looking to be involved, feeling connected and staying fit.

The sport itself is also a perfect natural transition from outdoors bowls.

If you aren’t able to spend a whole day on a green in the direct sun, then indoor carpet bowls can keep your passion for bowling alive.

New bowlers are always welcome.
