Neither side would have left satisfied, after a nail-biting netball encounter between Cobram and Echuca United in Moama resulted in a 28-goal draw.
The Cobram team broke out to an early lead, but United fought back, almost overrunning the Tigers.
Cobram coach Robbie Glass said it was a tightly fought and well-played game.
“They (Echuca United) probably looked like they were going to be a stronger team," Glass said.
"But in the last quarter and a bit we were able to edge our way back."
Despite the round delivering an indecisive result for Cobram, it was a worse weekend for northern neighbour Barooga, falling 47-10 to Nathalia.
In other matches, Nurmurkah fell to Tongala 58-31, with Tongala dominating the four quarters, while Moama and Denilquin faced off, with the former saluting 50-46 in a tight tussle.
