Katamatite’s Tom Irvine (1-25) and Mark Haberfield (1-21) were the only successful bowlers for their team.

In NSW, Berrigan had no such luck on its home turf against Barooga.

The Saints won the toss and elected to bowl first, but the tactic backfired when Barooga piled on 163 runs from 43.1 overs.

Barooga top-order batter Benjamin Beaumont made the most runs for his side at 35, followed by Kale Watkins who made 23.

Barooga’s Will Sharp had a field day and collected impressive figures of 6-9.
