Deniliquin Rhinos weren’t the only side to go down on their home turf, with Tocumwal’s Bloods coming out second best to Katamatite’s Tigers.

The Bloods posted 99 all-out but were chased down and surpassed by the Katty Tigers, who made 100 runs for the loss of just two wickets.

Bloods’ Peter Hattison was their best batter with 22 runs, while bowlers Liam Sutton and Reilly Rennick took one wicket apiece.

However, the best batter of the Blood’s was outmatched by the Katty’s Tyler Green, who contributed an unbeaten 43.

Katty bowlers Benjamin Beaton and Kepler Lukies each took three wickets, having a cracking day out with ball in hand.
