This week, we wrapped up two tournaments with the ladies' Autumn Tournament ending on Monday after six weeks, and the Classic Triples taking place on the weekend.

Details of the Classic Triples will be shared next week once results are in.

However, we have the final results for the ladies' event now.

Barooga Sports Yellow took first place with 59 shots up, followed by Barooga Sports Maroon with 30 shots up, and Numurkah Golf in third with 14 shots up.

Along with weekly winners, and weekly lucky draw card winners a total of $2,000 was won during the six-week tournament, which was well received by all the participants, so much so that a second event will be played in the spring.

The planned dates are from Monday, August 19, to Monday, September 30, excluding Monday, September 9.

Keith's Friday saw 20 bowlers. The winners were Val Linquist and Peter Lihou with 18 shots up, followed closely by runners-up John Crump and Ray Wright with 17 shots up.

The best first game winners were Garry Hulm and Jan Cullen, scoring plus seven.

The best second game winners were Geoff Brentnall and Anthony Hulm, with a score of plus two.

The jackpot was not won and is now worth $130. Make sure to put your names down for next week for a chance to win.

The match committee have decided that medley pairs will not be on this Tuesday.
