Tatura has sprung a round one upset over Echuca in A-grade netball, claiming a clinical 22-goal win over the Murray Bombers on Saturday.

The Bulldogs got the jump on the 2022 finalists in the first quarter, sinking 10 goals to three in a fast start to the season.

The Murray Bombers steadied in the second quarter but were still outscored by five goals, trailing by 12 at half-time.

Both teams walked away from the third term with nine goals each, but Tatura saved its best for last, outscoring Echuca 15-5 to round out a comprehensive 46-24 win.

Ash Mangan, Lauren Jones and Greta Pearson battled hard for Echuca, but the combination of Tayla Rokah, Elsie Boyer and Steph Gorrie were ruthless on court.

The Murray Bombers will look to rebound against Kyabram this Saturday, while Tatura will be hoping to notch two straight wins when it meets Mansfield.
