Three of Echuca and Moama’s AFL exports impressed in round 14.

Headlining the action was Echuca’s Ollie Wines, who was a major contributor in Port Adelaide’s 11th straight win this season. The Power beat the Cats in a Thursday night clash.

Wines finished with 28 disposals and six tackles in the 38-point win over Geelong, as the Power usurped Collingwood at the top of the ladder.

The big-bodied mid had 15 contested possessions, a match high for all players on the ground.

Port Adelaide enters its bye week on top of the ladder before heading to Melbourne to play Essendon at the MCG on July 1.

Moama’s Lachie Schultz had another good game against GWS in Sydney, but the Giants took the four points over Schultz’s Fremantle.

Schultz had 17 disposals from the forward pocket, but only managed to kick a point.

The small forward took seven marks and had two tackles.

Fremantle is hoping to bounce back in round 15 against the Bombers in Melbourne.

Echuca’s Brodie Kemp also impressed in Carlton’s first win since round seven, against Gold Coast.

Kemp was solid in defence and took nine marks, with two of those being contested. Kemp had 20 disposals from the backline while going at an efficiency of 80 per cent.

Carlton has a week off before it plays Hawthorn in a must-win game in round 16.

Melbourne is still not certain if star midfielder Clayton Oliver will play in Thursday night’s clash against the Cats after returning from hospital with an infected blister.
