The grass courts of Echuca will be humming once more as a fan favourite returns for another year.

Friday marks the start of the Echuca Tennis Club’s annual Easter tournament, with the three-day bonanza set to be well-attended once again.

Running from Friday to Sunday, the format will be round-robin as hundreds vie to take out honours in singles, doubles and mixed doubles events at the Crofton St courts at Victoria Park.

The Easter competition has become a tradition stretching back more than nine decades and is one of the biggest events on the regional tennis calendar for both junior and senior competitors.

On top of attracting big crowds to the daily match-ups, it also brings many visitors from around Victoria to Echuca.

Games begin at 8am on all three days, with bar and canteen services available.
