The Goulburn Valley Playing Area midweek competitions are continuing to heat up.
With Kyabram and Shepparton Park set to contest their round two match-up in the unusual timeslot of Friday, November 8, the other three Edna Harling Shield contests took place on time Tuesday morning.
Tallygaroopna and East Shepparton, winners in round one alongside Park and the Bombers, had opportunities to go two from two to begin their respective campaigns.
However, only the latter saluted with the East contingent leaving Euroa packing a 14-55 to 2-48 victory in the bag.
Seymour was able to get on the board in a big way following a rousing 14-59 to 2-38 victory over Tallygaroopna down south, while Shepparton Golf rebounded from a stinging round one defeat by handily accounting for Tatura-Hill Top 15-61 to 1-39.
Rechelle Zammit was on hand at Shepparton Park for a local derby in division two with East Shepparton, where the home side snagged the points in a 14-57 to 2-55 victory.
